ME
Hi there! My name is Cara and I'm going to tell you a little bit about who I am, what I do and why I'm here. I'll start by telling you that I find art, colors and creation beautiful.
Art has become a sort of refuge and form of worship for me. My work is inspired by my walk with God and is especially inspired by God's creation in nature and scripture. I'm usually singing worship music at the top of my lungs while paint is slinging everywhere (especially on me)! My desire is for my work to bring inspiration of God's beauty while helping causes close to my heart with a portion of my original artwork sales benefitting these causes.

Painting is obviously a passion of mine & something I've always loved but for a long time couldn't have. For those of you who don't know me or my story, here's a small nutshell version.
I was sick for over a decade. My body was degenerating at a rapid rate and I had over nine surgeries and countless procedures & constant physical therapy on virtually every part of my body. I lived much of my life in pain & cooped up in my house (much of it in my medical bed or on the couch) unable to live the active lifestyle I loved so much. I didn't really get to live much of a life and the doctors told my loved ones I would probably die and they needed to prepare. I felt the life leaving my body one day at a time, slowly wasting away.
